I'm still here, still have the type r too. Not sure what to do with it though.

That looks like a tidy build, is it a built ej20?
Its such an awesome car the least you could do is get it out and get some pics of it up!

Its a destroked 2.35 in a pinned EJ25 block smile
That sounds good! I'd love to see a bit about it! smile

It was a nice car in it's day but my spec hasn't changed in over 6 years. Things move on everyone has 600 hp these days don't they? I basically moth balled it when I had some family issues to deal with that were more important to me than an old car and never came back to it.

It's covered in an inch of dust at the moment but actually has had a little work done on it in the last couple of months (new ohlins setup) as I comtemplate it's future.

Mostly still like this now with a few odds and ends tidied up

Nothing? Maybe the angle of the photos is strange to see the rear? my driveway's a bit small to get decent distance from the car for a good photo.

Here's an image of the rear smile

Unless ofcourse you mean the rear wheels? They're OEM Hawkeye WRX wheels. Still waiting on a set of new wheels 18x8.5 ET44 to fill out the arches a bit more, currently they look a bit lost in there

I think he was implying that the car looks like its been dumped on its arse. Back end lowered or boot filled with paving slabs?

oh right no, nothing in the boot at all. It's been lowered slightly with springs all round but the driveway itself is on a slope so that would be why.

Looks fairly normal when the car is sitting on level ground

Quick blast up to the Cat n Fiddle today as the weather is nice and the roads were daily quiet. Soon changed that with some anti-lag hehe

That looks great from the front. Not a fan of the chrome but I've always been a bit jealous of the Estates for their front ends. The later model Legacys had the best modern Subaru front end in my opinion.
Would love to see someone swap the front on to an Impreza

335bhp and about 310lb/ft. Nice smooth power delivery aswell although it does mean that I don't realise how quick the car is actually going until I look down hehe

Front mount, intake and bigger turbo are on the future lost of shiny things but at the same time I am enjoying it as it is now. Plenty quick enough for what I really use it for. Might just go with the intake more for noise than anything else.

My RB5 has a similar output 355bhp - 335lb/ft its fairly lively on boost. I've got a front mount and induction kit and it sounds fantastic when you're on it but its a bit loud when trying to keep the noise down.

I'm aiming for 430bhp this year smile

Ah the Type R, king of the classics! smile - I'd like to own a Type R one day although I'm trying to convince the other half to let me also add an EVO to the garage!

Sounds like a lot of fun!

I need to do some serious thinking about what I want while I'm saving the money I think hehe

Had a really weird issue on mine recently where it was like it's been missing when its cold. After a spot of googling and a suggestion to switch from Tesco 99 to Vpower the problem has gone away and the car feels like it's pulling a lot harder now. Weird occurrence but I'll pay 9p a litre extra for ithe to be solved.

I've always thought 330 eas a sweet spot for the classic with road use
