My mate has his Spec C up for sale.
Its a mint car and is super rare and a genuine Litchfield Import, if you are after something like this take a look.
Its a serious amount of car for little money in my view, especially having done just over 10K.
Have a look..... If you are interested say Jab sent ya :-)

I saw this in the classifieds earlier, my absolute dream car! cloud9

1 thing that did jump out from the advert though was that it looked like the 1st 3 services are missing from the history?

Just spoke with my mate:

Serviced at

1029 miles Fisken Motor Group Forfar Subaru Dealers 23/4/2005
5700 miles JD Peace Cars Kirkwall Orkney 10/03/2008
9312 miles AS Performance Birtley on 23/12/2009, full five year service including cam belt and all fluids.

You could argue that it should have been serviced each year regardless of mileage but I think that would be very unusual for a car used so little.

Stunning motor good luck with the sale.

Bit off topic but was just wondering - of all the special/rare/fast Subarus you've owned which would be the favourites, and why? Could be worth starting a new thread if you have time to kill doing a write-up about them.

Thanks mate, just one of the tens of thousands of gravel backroads in this country smile Nice spot though. Always happy to point visiting PHers in interesting directions if you find yourself in NZ!

This is the 2nd time that i've missed out on THIS exact car (was going to buy it in 2009 but couldnt get the money together quick enough and this year I would have needed another month to pay off my Spec C, typical...)
Its only done 2k in 2 years, would have made it Spec C number 3 for me biggrin

Where did it end up going to?

The car went to Germany! 3 German guys flew to Manchester and drove up to collect it, drove it away on dealer plates! They paid cash straight into my mates bank account. Crazy but I guess with it being such a sort after motor people will travel to collect.

Thanks for the interest though.

cheers J.

Just hope they are not stripping it for a rally car frown they will have difficulties getting it through a TUV as the cert of conformity isnt a 100% proof to get it registered over there.
