I would be quite interested to know this too, a colleague is thinking of getting an 08 WRX and wants to know about exhaust upgrades, the louder the better for him. It doesn't seem like there is much out there tbh, I suppose we can thank Subaru for adding 4 exhaust pipes instead of just one.

Custom made is probably the best way to go, unless someone else knows some goldmine of exhaust systems for the Impreza hatch. I reckon a single, slightly angled 5" N1 style Jap cannon back box would look so much better than 4 or 2 smaller pipes.

If you're going from the very last cat back (without removing any cats) you shouldn't need to remap.

It will be the usual Miltek, Afterburner, HKS, Blitz, Akamoto, MIJ (custom systems), Torqueflow (custom Systems), Magnex, Cobra, Japspeed, Mongoose, Peco, Jetex, Piper, Buddy Club, Fox, etc...

The list goes on and on, take your pick!!

^^ +1

Well done for pointing out Hayward and Scott, probably my number one choice as well for top quality product and the smoothest sound around.

Scooby world are the reseller for H&S. The afterburner is made by them also. You can't beat their build quality, however, the Bltz is probably the best if a little loud...
