Play it safe and get a bespoke remap from a reputable mapper- someone who's work you can check out personally on subaruforester.org or scoobynet.co.uk.

The prodrive pack for the MY99/00 Forester was only worth having to keep your warranty, which would be well out of date now anyway. Even if you found one, the back box would probably be at the end of its life.

I had a TurboS at the same time as I owned a 416ib Newage Impreza. They were chalk and cheese to drive, but I still enjoyed the Forester for its preactical aspects.

Best mod I ever did was to fit the later Forester STI suspension.

On a Forester forum it seems quite a few people are using HDI electonic boost controllers to increase boost to around 15 PSI, these units come with their own boost solenoid so can get around the fuel cut on the original solenoid. Lots of people saying they have used this setup without any problems, plus it gives the option to effectively switch between an economy boost level and a performance boost level to suit the journey. Does anyone on here use a similar setup?
Most of the people that use these have them because they have autos that can't be mapped. If you want 200bhp safely, you really are best off having it mapped properly.
