I've just dabbed a tear from my eye. All hail the ultimate man shrine to Subaru
I know what you mean I used to go to WRCs England Germany and Turkey. We had Prodrive hospitality AWESOMEVery nice, you've got everything you need in one place so no need to even see the missus until bed time.
Real man +10
Now for the boring bits. I assume you needed planning permission for that. Also it looks prefab may I ask where you purchased it from and a rough approximate cost?
I only ask because I'm getting closer to buying a house now and I'll be looking to do something very similar in the garden.

You shouldn't need planning permission for that, or building regs... It would fall under permitted development, which are a fairly new set of rules to enable people to make certain adjustments to their property without requiring planning consent... Search for permitted development...

In the UK you don't need permission just need to comply with planning guidelines IIRCReal man +10

but if in Scotland it has different rules to UK
I was advised by a friend, whatever you can afford on the Budget Go as wide as you can, then add an extra lenth on as you'll always regret not doing it.
Outside diamensions are approx 2.90m x 8.10m. IRRC there are 4 widths are Sizes in Single garage and you can add lenths on in 1.20m or 0.60m sections. look here http://www.nucrete.co.uk/products/apex-concrete-ga...
I bought the Elite version, as had better roof, all windows and guttering are PVC (included in price). it was also lower Apex roof height was 2.40m so complied with Planning rules as if under 2 metres of a boundary . IIRC the standard version was over 100mm too high would have to be over 2m from boundary
I think it cost £3400 delivered and erected. The base + electrics + lights + insulation + paint made it at £5k ish
I used my old kitchen units and £230 on beech block worktops. Another £200 sorted interior on subaru stuff like , Paint, vinyl wrap tool hangers etc off ebay Bay

I'd probably do the floor in yellow background with a massive blue Subaru logo. Just the opposite of what you have on the cupboards. You should be able to source those colours in hard wearing garage floor paint.
I'm surprised actually you didn't install a pit and then have a pink Subaru logo'd pit cover with blue background and do the floor in yellow.
Makes a lot of sense and saves jacking the car up for a lot of jobs done underneath like replacing ARB and ARB links, doing 4 wheel alignment, general servicing, fluid changes etc...
Every home garage should have a pit.

One cool garage but can you actually fit a car in there or manage to get out if you do, looks a tad narrow.
dimensions are approx 10' 8" x 27' so not that bad if keep tight to one side I can fully open a door. Gassing Station | Subaru | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
