The n/a ones are dirt cheap right now.. and I'm assuming because they're Japanese the quality of them is amazing. I've fallen in love with them, is there any reason why I shouldn't?

They are leggy (ho ho) and as many are jap import history may be an issue. It could well have "a few" more miles on it then it's showing.
They tend to be auto as well, and a box going would write off the car.

They look ok though. I'm considering one because they're about all I can afford.
Here in Australia they seem to hold together well and run out to big milages (300,000Km +)

If you can get one for a grand and you can afford to chuck it away if it goes horribly wrong, what's not to like?
