The wifes car needs some new pads and discs as well as a set of filters for a service

Any particular recommendations for an online store which isn't too much of a pain to deal with

Lots of options.

Search for 'import car parts'
They have lots readily available and you can drop them an email if you need anything that isn't already on the website. Better prices than the dealer too.

Or Euro car parts. They stock Pagid pads which are pretty good.

Or, depending on the engine, somewhere like scoobyparts will be fine as the engines are shared with the Impreza for service items.

Nice people to deal with when I've used them.

Due to circumstances (i.e. lack of time due to work) I am really only able (most of the time) to contact parts suppliers by email.....when I can phone, it is outside of their office hours. Recently, I have been having trouble getting a reply/response from any parts suppliers.
Importcarparts are one that have ignored my emails...which immediately puts me off them...but I don't know. Maybe if I can find the time to phone them....? But after having no response from a few suppliers, I seem to be struggling to find a reliable one. I have never experienced problems obtaining parts for my cars before...that is my only (very, very slight)issue with owning my Forester S/tb....the faff to get parts.....
But then it probably is just me being a muppet!

I'm awaiting a response too. Nearly a week now too.

That's a shame, I only dealt with them by phone. Still they offer contact by email so it's disappointing they haven't responded.
