I assume the sti is a bit more stable in the corners than a gen 1 turbo s?
These are totally different cars. FSTI is a comprehensively reworked fozzy, def check out the fifth gear episode it appeared in. The S Turbo was merely tinkered with over standard n/a versions.

Newer in Japan than here. Id speak to someone like Iain Litchfield, but since the exchange rate collapsed JDM vehcile have virtually doubled in price at source.

I too need my OE 18's refurbed and by the looks of them its not the second time either eek

They looked acceptable when I purchased in March but the last owner must have touched them up with acrylics rolleyes

Trouble is, even though I have a Legacy Spec B and some 17 FXT alloys neither will clear the Brembos so I cant get them off and refurbished grumpy

I've nearly bought one of these on three separate occasions. Fuel economy is my issue - what do you fellas get in mixed driving? On a long run?

I get 20-22 normally, I drove to Newcastle last year with my sick uncle in the car so took it super steady, got 300 out of a tank but that was an exception. Normally 25'ish on a long run.

Does everyone here confirm the 20-22 mpg? I've had another owner tell me 25-30 which would be ok.

Also, as most of you seem to have purchased your Foresters recently, would you mind PMing a rough idea of what you paid? Don't mean to pry, just want to get an idea of how much I should throw at this. Thanks fellas.

Hi Macky, details of mine are in the garage section of my profile, just re-visited that as I did log the consumption for a while and was actually getting just over 23, also it's the 330 brake one so probably a bit thirstier than the standard?
