Thanks. Do you know if the same is true for the BL5 sedan version?

Not off hand, I'm afraid. All the best people buy wagons anyway wink

Give me a shout if you do get to the point you want to remove the cruise speed limit restrictor. It'd be nice to save someone the hours it took me to track that one down!
How do you take off the annoying limiter on cruise control.

It's a remap job. Not always stright forward as some software doesn't have the correct defenitions, so you'll need a mapper that can locate it in the file.

It is something I've done myself on mine.

Hi

An old thread I know, but I'm retrofitting my 2006 GT Spec B with Cruise Control and will be getting a UK fuel map soon. While the engineers doing the remap I thought I'd get him to take out the CC restrictor and wondered if you could point me to the relevant addresses in the ROM and I'll get them added / modified.
Hopefully save him some time... and me money ;-)

(Apologies but I've DM'd you on this as well, in case you're not on Pistonheads as much these days - it is an old thread now)

Cheers

Andy

It'll be in a different place on each ROM, so you need to find it and then modify the defenitions for your specific one.

You're looking for - 42 14 00 00 42 20 00 00 42 18 00 00 42 14 00 00 42 1C 00 00 43 10 00 00 42 DC 00 00 42 D2 00 00 43 7A 00 00 43 10 00 00

From this thread (including me working out how to do it!): https://www.romraider.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=40...

I'll reply to the direct e-mail - if you know your ECU code I can probably help you find it.

Great stuff - I'll pass the info on to the engineer who'll be doing the custom tune.
Much kudos to you finding this out!!!
