insurance for the impreza 05 PPP

hi all just need some information on the insurance quotes for PPP

was having a little look around and wanted to do a quote, found a impreza with the prodrive and used the reg, and the spec is only coming up with (265) shouldn't it be (300)?

rather confused as doing quotes for all the prodrive ones with reg and its coming up with (265)

A Blobeye 300? That's only 265 bhp, just a tarted up WRX with Prodrive kit, same as the normal 2.0 PPP cars.

UK300 model always caused confusion. Limited edition of 300No. IIRC, not 300 bhp.

Yep. I have an 04 blob WRX with PPP, the sticker on the handbook says it's 265bhp and should be run on high octane fuel for the best results. The Sti's with PPP were 305 (I think).

I'm insured with A plan at Chelmsford and they're pretty helpful but not the cheapest and they actually know what a PPP is.

The Blob & bug eye wrx was 225bhp standard, the STi was 265bhp with a prodrive performance pack an optional extra at Subaru dealers bringing it to 305bhp. I think they also did a wrx with PPP at some point on a blob eye but not sure what the blob was around 260/270.

Mine is a WRX blob, 265 bhp according to the certificate, which makes use of the 5 speed box nicely.
