Hi,

Wondering if anyone has a quick fix for this.

I bought a second-hand Forester about a month ago. It goes really well apart from a slight hissing from the wing mirror or front windows when I'm on the motorway.

Any ideas what this is and how to fix?

Cheers,

D

You can try cleaning the window seal with warm soapy water, if that does not work then its a new seal unfortunately.

Normally on the sg9 it’s the triangular bit attached to the front part of the door where the window is , i know they can be adjusted but i’ve tried and never got very far with it , the other thing that can add to it is if it has wind deflectors if they are broken , i took mine off in the end , the third thing maybe the window needs adjusting , the adjustment process is on line somewhere but what ever you do follow it as you won’t necessary get there by trial and error as the adjustment process is a bit of a fiddle

Mine were terrible from the minute I took delivery of the car, its usually the mirror gussets that get stretched and worn over time. I completely replaced both of them, detailed in my thread here:- https://www.scoobynet.com/members-gallery-5/105078...

ICP sell them and they are not very expensive
