With the obligatory wind deflectors, noice! Nobody else seems to like them, but I think they are ace.

Good luck with it

Slight grumble: For some reason, it has fix points for roof bars rather than rails that most UK models can't with, same as my Legacy. I find these a total faff and it adds half an hour at each end of taking the bike out. On top of this, the boot isn't quite large enough to take a bike.

Guess I'll bite the bullet and get a full length liner.

Oh, and standard JDM issue, can't get the cruise control over 65mph. Gonna have to doctor that.

That's why I brought a legacy this time around; full suss goes in without taking the wheels off.

I have cruise controls from a UK spec car to fit to mine, I suspect I'll have the same issue as you.

Just to be clear, I was talking seats up, wheels off. I was hoping the forester would do this as it's got a full plastic boot tray so I could chuck the bike in mud-and-all. Legacy will do this but care needs to be taken with the trim, Forester needs the seats dropped. I'll probably get a full liner bag for it.

Probably derailed this thread enough, but yes, you'll have the CC speed limit on a JDM Legacy. First thing I did on mine was adjust it, if it did 70 I'd be happy as I only use it to bimble about on dual carriageway but between the vss error and larger wheels all I got was 62! Think I moved it up to 130 or something, probably North of the 112mph speed limiter at any rate. Forester is more of a local run around car so I'll adjust that when I get around to it and I'll do a basic 99 tune at the same time.

Sorry to hijack this thread but I'm looking at a forester STI at the moment and it doesn't seem to have an adjuster for the diff next to the handbrake. Is this normal or is it someone trying to pass something off as an STI which isn't?

Pretty sure the Forester sti didn't get DCCD...

I don't recall ever noticing DCCD on them.

The Forster sg9 sti was four colours , white blue grey or a silver , you get a mixture of subtle or not so , plus if driven carefully you get 36 mpg
Is April 1st upon us already! wink

Agree with your man here....drive one....it's addictive but you will struggle to find one that's standard. Completely different car to any of the other models. XT with some light mods is a great car but the STI is another level.

Steer clear of the Cross Sport.....horrible, underpowered cows of cars with a slush box....you can't do much with it.
