I find that when faced with someone who says "i believe the Moon doesn't exisit" or "The moon landings never happened" i find the best course of action is to immediately punch them in the face as hard as possible.
When the get back up off the floor and start complaining, simply say "sorry, but i believe that didn't happen"......... Works quite well ;-)
Like it - The Buzz Aldrin Approach.

Ultimately, you can never win against foil-hatters, because there's no limit to stupidity.

To all the moon landing hoax believers I say this. If Apollo 11 was a fake then why did NASA run the program up to Apollo 17. Did they think we got away with it once so lets just chance it 6 more times. Lets make one of those a disaster so they don't actually land on the moon. Also lets remember when we send probes with high resolution cameras to fake the landing sites as well even though that will be 40 years in the future and most of us will be retired by then.

Apollo 13 was "a disaster" with the sole intent of bringing US Society - and the western world, looking at the bigger picture, plus flicking Vs at the eastern powers - back together to some degree; when the public are all oohing and aahing at the O2 tanks bleeding their contents off in to space and the crew struggling with a 'spares' kit that doesn't match the parts on board (round vs square fittings, needing duck tape to bodge appropriately and help get them back to earth), well - it's a medium term event that brings people together in a common rooting for these astronauts to survive their mission, and to make the Apollo program realistic as the great unwashed become jaded *YAWN* as well as putting those damned characters with snow on their boots in their place in the pecking order...

I'm being facetious, arguably trolling wink - I believe that people landed on the moon and that events on Apollo 13 were an unfortunate, unforeseen and unplanned incident smile .

13 would have been a disaster if they had died, personally I think it was a triumph under extreme circumstances. It was also a demonstration of the whole set up, mission control, interaction with manufacturers etc and shows that it was too open to be a hoax.

Did you not see my warning....... wink

There used to be another forum Openminds (?), closed for some reason, I see they have a new one. Do not look into that forum, the stupid will burn.

Belief has no place in a discussion about factual events.

Seriously though, having created a couple of websites myself, that's hell of a lot of effort to put into a website. It is slightly concerning that they walk among us. Still more time at the keyboard, less on the streets.

Nope he will tell you something incredibly daft like:

The tides are cause by the earths crust lifting slightly at underwater fault lines, although people try to say the moon causes the tide that is a lie!!!

HOW DO I KNOW???

Tides are very regular, but not affected by night and day, you can have Low Tide at night when you CAN see the moon but a high tide during the day when you CANT see it.

What does that really mean???

Well if the tides where caused by the moon then surely at night when you can see the moon the water would be higher than during the day when it is hidden BEHIND the planet!!!

It is the movement of the earths crust (nature breaths as i like to think) that lifts the water and creates tide. BUT THE LIZARD PEPLE DON@T WANT YOU TO KNOW OUR PLANET BREATHES!!!!! IF YOU KNEW THAT THEN YOU WOULD NEVER ALLOW THEIR PLAN TO STRIP IT'S RESOURCES AND THEN KILL OUR EARTH MOTHER!!!

Now you know the truth.

Thes burning fuhrer pants, part of a subject that is a bit delicate so let you find it. The film "Titanic" is a work of fiction.....

I'd love to hear their explanation of the tides if the moon doesn't exist....

They'll probably say that gravity doesn't exist either.

A cash reward of $100,000 has been offered to anyone who can send us, by e-mail, conclusive physical evidence of the existence of the moon. This reward remains unclaimed
I don't think you would win...

I can't believe I nearly fell for that, I mean, it seemed odd, how did they fit it in between France and The Netherlands? But I just assumed it must exist, otherwise why would they keep talking about it.

I used to think the same thing about Luxembourg until it was explained to me the entire place is kept in Frances understairs cupboard (along with two vacuum cleaners, a spare drive belt for the washing machine (the old one, not sure if it fits the new one) and I think theres some candles in case theres a power cut).
