It's on its way back in toward the planet now having reached its maximum distance on its first orbit on 21 July. I expect we shall see some pictures in a week or so.

The NASA Eye's site is the place to see where the spacecraft is.

It will actually be a few months before the craft's orbit is stabilised and it's ready to return some science.

I presume the lower spin rate in the polar regions prevents the bands from forming.

It doesn't appear to have the hexagonal cloud formation seen on Saturn - I guess a number of scientists will be working on figuring out why not
