i think they should get a pc up there, put it in a box with no heating exposed to the coldness of space and see just how much over clocking is possible lol.
they could get a quantum computer an see how far they could push it. there simulations would be figured out so much quicker that way, as the thing that over clocking computers is the heat generated making it go pop.

I would like them to explore whether probes could be powered by a combination of bicarbonate of soda and water - as in, mix the two together as and when required, collect the resulting gas, release it as a jet.
With the bicarbonate of soda being light in weight, might make a reasonable fuel payload, seeing as the resulting gas would be released into a vacuum.
