As hinted at above, sample size and correct analysis of deviation is essential before you can draw any conclusions.
True, I don't. It's often the creationists' argument which is refuted by someone shuffling a pack of cards and laying the cards out in a line one-by-one, then explaining the probability of that particular sequence occurring was 1 in 8^67. But it did.

Given any random (or probably non-random) selection of people, there is 100% certainty that you can find some seemingly important correlation or link.

In other words, if this particular stat hadn't been the case, then someone would have found that none were born on a tuesday, or in states starting with a consonant, or whose mothers and fathers were all under 5ft6, or...

Is Harrison Schmitt missing from the above list?

What does the graph look like if months started on the 15th? Or if week of year was graphed instead?

Are there not expected seasonal variations in birth rates?

Glad I started an interesting discussion. I'm no mathematician but I do love to read about the US space programme and Apollo in particular.

Just hope that at 50 years old I live to see a man walk on Mars. I rate my chances as 50/50, the same as the chance that Mike Collins reckon Apollo 11 had of making a successful moon landing.
