You'd be very sensible Eric ....

Certainly an improvement though, wonder if the final speed was too fast or whether the legs just didn't work?

Good effort, quite accurate as well. smile

This! Does that count as a second launch and a world record turn-around time?

Boom! That was spectacular.

It's still fantastic progress and it's amazing getting to watch it all live.

Rumour is legs failed, methane leak caused the explosion.

Great landing! Shame about the slight error not long after... Is there a video of when it blew up?

Awesome stuff!
I'm still a bit sceptical about the raptor reliability for now, but then it's all still prototyping.
The best thing is the theory of it all is proving to work.
A shame it popped on the pad, but my dram was already poured, it's not going back in the bottle!

Quite the encore, but you can see the progression on each flight.

I wonder if the fuel that was being vented came into the hot engines which caused the fuel to ignite?

I thiink there are a lot of COPVs in the engine bay - £5 says there was a fire down there and some of them cooked off.

There was something that shot off to the left trailing vapour, pressurised tank maybe?

From 11:40 that is just spectacular stuff. The sound, the glint as it manoeuvres from horizontal to vertical. What a spectacle! And the explosion, too of course.
