Skyrora conducts the first space rocket test in Britain for 50 years

The Skylark L is a suborbital rocket designed to deliver 60 kg (132 lb) payloads to an altitude of about 100 km (62 mi) as part of Skyrora's development of its larger Skyrora XL, which will carry satellites into low Earth orbit (LEO).
I wonder what, if any, relationship it has with the old Skylark sounding rocket - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skylark_(rocket)

Virgin Orbit launch attempt on Sunday was scrubbed due to a faulty sensor. Virgin Orbit did not immediately announce a new target launch date.

They were kinda asking for it with a name like that.

Latest from Rocket Lab:

More high winds are headed towards LC-1 tomorrow, so we’re going to wait for them to clear before we get back on the pad for the #DontStopMeNow mission.

Launch is now targeted for no earlier than 04:43, 13 June UTC.

Trying to keep the weight as far back as they can I guess. It’s not often that you see payloads impinge on the pointy part of the fairing.

I see the Electron rocket went off ok. All satellites dropped off in good order.

SpaceX up next shortly

And that's another landing for SpaceX. Another launch next week?

There's a couple of Chinese launches, but they generally don't livestream these because losing face is unacceptable if they fail.

There's also the Arianespace Vega launch mentioned above on June 18/19.

Then on June 22nd there's another Falcon 9 mission = Starlink 9 (with rideshare: BlackSky Global 5 & 6 - earth observation sats)

Kind of ironic, given the mission name 'Pics or it didn't happen', that tonight's Electron launch lost video feed during the 2nd stage burn smile

Yeah, not looking good on their 13th flight.

Update from Peter Beck via Twitter:

"We lost the flight late into the mission. I am incredibly sorry that we failed to deliver our customers satellites today. Rest assured we will find the issue, correct it and be back on the pad soon."
