The Delta 4 Heavy always puts on a bit of a show at launch.

Should have gone yesterday but trying again today. The mission is to measure accurately wind patterns on earth. Ironically, the launch was scrubbed yesterday due to high winds.

Odd - the 'official' stream seems to be 30s behind the Spaceflightnow one

These solid rockets take off like a scalded cat.

What's your favorite then?

Of the ones currently in service, I think mine is the Delta 4 Heavy because it's so dramatic.

The Falcon Heavy is a close second and with the landing capability, it certainly has an added cool factor.

I quite like the Vega - mainly due to the speed with which it leaves the pad

Of the current crop, I also think the Delta IV Heavy is the most dramatic. The Falcon Heavy was also pretty impressive.

I always prefer liquid fueled rockets to solid fueled rockets - which always look to me like glorified Polaris missiles.

The Saturn family is still my favourite.
