I offer science from scientists in the field, your response, as always, is non-scientific bluster from the comfort of your armchair.
Science driven by politics and threats , you must be so proud.....

Once again, no science just politics. I appreciate it's damn nigh impossible for you to produce any bona fide current scientific evidence for this thread so I suppose the tactic has to be swamp it with opinion and accusation instead.

I'll show you again in the coming days the sort of thing you should be posting in here. biggrin

ETA You know he's not a scientist but an ex environmental activist right? He's also a lobbyist for nuclear power. Just saying. He's gonna sell a lot of books to people like you biggrin

Oh didn't realise you were a mod biggrin I will ask next time if it's ok to post.......

Can you prove that anything you are going to post in the future is not science driven by either politics or environmental objectives, remember follow the money.
First Michael Moore now Michael Schellenberger, alternative views are not allowed, no discussion ,this is the path of religion not science.
What is wrong with supporting nuclear power?
No CO2, no particulates works 24/7 or are you just anti everything.....

Yes I can prove its driven by science by posting links to the published papers and other data if its available...

Can you post some science refuting the research and analysis...on this...the SCIENCE thread? biggrin

Start now with this topic we're talking about...

I'm all ears.

Jim Hansen assesses the chances of 2020 setting a new global record:

"Global temperature in May 2020 set a record for May(1.29°C, relative to 1880-1920) for the period of adequate data, i.e., since 1880. That is the third monthly record in the first five months of2020, despite the fact that temperatures this year are not boosted by a strong El Nino"

Meanwhile Heatwave trends are accelerating worldwide:

https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2020/07/2007...

Extract: The first comprehensive worldwide assessment of heatwaves down to regional levels has revealed that in nearly every part of the world heatwaves have been increasing in frequency and duration since the 1950s.

The research published in Nature Communications* has also produced a new metric, cumulative heat, which reveals exactly how much heat is packed into individual heatwaves and heatwave seasons. As expected, that number is also on the rise.

More science in one post than you’ve provided in the last 24 months.

It's so obvious innit. Sun get's colder - earth sets record high temps.

I'm sure dicky will be back with a perfectly valid scientific explanation for it... biggrin

It's being reported that the target of keeping the earth's average temperature rise below 1.5°c is possibly going to be breached for at least some months of the year within the next 5 years.

Here's what that extra .5° above they current 1° likely means...

Which is twice yours then. Statistically speaking that is of course
