Heading to see the Solar Eclipse soon

I sat a Go Pro on the top of the car and left it running. Here's the moment of totality. Doesn't really show it well but if you look at the bottom left you can see in the reflection on the car roof as the total eclipse starts. The reflection shows more clearly how dark it gets ... the camera compensates for the main picture so it doesn't look that dark ! That and its pointed at the horizon which maintains that orange glow.

Finally made it home. Don't have many pictures that aren't what you've all seen before.

This may be interesting. I set the go pro up on the top of the car and left it running looking at the landscape. Speeded up pre, during and post eclipse.

If you look at the clouds in the distance, you can see the total eclipse on its way and the end approaching. You can just about see totality reflected in the car roof :-)
