Deffo a B-52. Look at it, it's as big as a whale, bet it seats about 20.

NASA spokesman Gerry Driscoll has revealed "There is no dark side of the moon, really. Matter of fact, it's all dark".

NASA's announcement is said to be about something found by another Boeing - a 747SP, that houses the Stratospheric Observatory for Infrared Astronomy (SOFIA). It'll be at 4pm UK time today.

Moon cracks and liquid water. That's my bet.

Possibly clangers.

Clangers would be a nice outcome, but given how 2020 has gone so far its more likely to be giant syphilitic space spiders claiming asylum or moon geese demanding compensation for all the junk we left on the moon back in the 60s.

I don't trust 2020 much. I will be in my bunker if you need me.

They've found a heat source.

It's seems to be forming the shape of a Pyramid, but it's 2 miles under ground.

Time for a billionaire industrialist to step up and send a team of archaeologists to investigate.

If it's a large black obelisk, can they just leave it alone until at least 2021
Its 2020. Its probably a big red button saying DO NOT PRESS!!
With a small light that then lights up saying 'please do not press this button again'

I think they've found Armstrong and Aldrin's toilet waste from 1969.

ALL sides of the moon are sunny - 50% of the time.

The point of this discovery is that there seems to be evidence of much more widespread water on the moon, not just at the bottom of sun shaded deep craters.

Whether this water is practically accessible and useable is still open to question.

Not happy with having changed the climate on Earth, we'll do it to the Moon too? scratchchin

Interesting that the area they looked at includes the crater Clavius -which happens to be the location of the moonbase in the book/film "2001: A Space Odyssey". Arthur C Clarke must be chuckling to himself somewhere.

Out of all of the suggestions so far I think aliens would up there TBH.

Although I doubt NASA would be announcing anything if that were the case sadly.

Anyone watched Unacknowledged on Amazon Prime? If not, it’s well worth a watch.

This had so much potential.

Water. what a let down.

Asteroids and comets are known to contain water and the moon has many craters so its a fair bet here is water on the moon.

2020 you disappoint.
