I'll rephrase it as "not really an issue when considering a launch site".

The second line i can agree with, the first is ironic, but in a good way. Always enjoy your attention to detail and specifics in a multitude of threads.

Depends on who you ask or who you are paying for a commercial trip to "space" .Though possibly incorrectly, i thought the various layers of atmosphere followed the same pattern of thinner at the poles up until true space is reached (50 miles for an astronaut).
