My wife's Fabia has a split console bush on one lower arm.

I'm intending to replace both console bushes, with the uprated VAG or Ibiza Cupra ones -areth Cupra ones noticeably harsh on a shopping model on 14" rims?

Is it worth changing the front arm bushings too?

I am sorry but you are going to have to help us out, what is a console bush?

I guess he means control arm bushes.

He means "console bushes" as that is what they are called...

I'd never heard that name before either.

They are the bushes between the chassis and the rear of the lower front control arm in some VAG cars.

I had the Cupra bushes fitted in my old Polo GT and I didn't notice any difference in the ride.

I only had the front ones done at about 70,000 miles.

In fit the Cupra bushes to all the models, doesn't seems to change the ride quality at all, expect there's no banging when you apply the brakes ever again !
