Cheap Tap and Die set

Hi

Bought a cheap tap and die set from Aldi about a week ago. Used it for the first time last night on two broken studs in a bell housing. I drilled a hole in and used heat and an easy out on one but couldn't move it. Drilled pilot holes with my dormer drills and drilled the final hole with the supplied Aldi drills and tapped new 8mm threads in both no problem. I am a HGV Technician so my tools take a hammering I was very impressed considering the set was £14.99 if anyone is after a cheap tap set I would take a look.

yeah got a set myself just incase i get into a muddle , can always replace the popular sizes with good quality as you go
