B O C many branches closing

For those that do their own welding etc, many branches of BOC are closing, including Letchworth.

Even BOC couldn't tell me which are closing or staying open, so the continuity of welding gas supply for me was looking bad.

Hobbyweld is an option, but not very close to me.

I've now found United Welding in Hitchin - they stock two makes in industrial size cylinders for sale with a one-off rental charge rather than all the monthly fees.

I know where I'm going next time.

Oh what a shame!!!! I loved how they were doing you a favour when they sold you a very expensive rental agreement so you can use there very expensive industial gas
