MkII Ford Ka heating controls backlighting problem

Driving at night I can't see the fan control knobs for direction for air or heating settings (cold or hot).
I presume that a back lighting bulb or two has failed.
How can I remove this panel to check please?

I can't say exactly for the KA but in a MK4/5 Fiesta you need to remove the radio then this exposes screws holding the control panel in place.

Once the panel is out it's just a case of inserting the new bulb in the correct holder.

Reassembly is the reverse .....
