Advice looking at a seat leon fr

Hi guys,
Im taking my partner to look at a seat leon cupra fr (222bhp) the weekend as her old cars going kaput soon (typical 2o6).
The question i want to ask is what do i need look for on these motors? Its done 98k and looking very good for its age with full service history. I have a golf 2.0 gti but obviously its a big difference from the 1.8t engine which i dont know much about.
I know german built engines are very reliable i have no problems with my golf appart from EML keeps coming on after having a new cat and lambda sensor.
Any advice would be appreciated, many thanks.
