SEAT Leon - No coolant and heater issues

Not enough info to know, but probably.
When you say you fixed the issue of low coolant, do you mean you just topped it up again, or did you find out and fix why it was losing coolant?

You said you had already topped it up before the temperature warning light came on - how often have you been topping it up? Is this the first time the warning light has come on? How long did you drive it with the light on? Do you know how the coolant got from the engine to your garage floor?

Not much information to go on, but if the engine is making a knocking noise, after loosing all coolant, I'd say a monster bill is looming.
