Can anyone suggests a really good quality vacuum or suction vice please?

I know bolted down would be better but that isn't an option.

The draper https://www.amazon.co.uk/Draper-45245-Vacuum-Table... one gets not great reviews so without spending more than say £100 does anyone have one that they think is excellent.
Or does anyone have one they would definitely not buy again? Obviously I'm not looking at the chinese ebay knock offs.

I think the reason that you've had no replies to this thread is that they are all pretty crap.
What's the problem that you are trying to overcome? If you explained that, perhaps we could come up with some alternative suggestions, rather than a crappy suction vice

Sure.

I want a vice. The place it is going it can't be bolted down, so I thought of a suction one. Any other sugestions welcome.

For smaller work I have been happy with a vice that clamps onto the table - this one is the fist I bumped into on Amazon

They are smaller, but work!

IME by definition any suction/clamp on vice would only be suitable for light duty work.

The ONLY way for ANY vice to be suitable for heavier duty work is to bolt it in place onto a solid work surface.

Where is it going? What will it be used for?

You could bolt any old vice to a sheet of thick plywood, then using G-clamps, clamp the plywood to the table of your choice
