Best wax for car with partial ppf

I've just picked up a lotus exige V6 which had ppf (ventureshield) applied on the front. I have read I shouldn't use a wax in cream form as it will show the edges of the film. Is there a liquid spray wax you would recommend? Should I use both on the paint work and ppf? Also, should I use polish on the film?

Any advice much appreciated!
