Sealey socket sets
Discussion
I had a set of these (actually at the time only £6 inc delivery due to a pricing cock up)

They have some sort of shoulder drive feature, yes very good.

I am looking at buying AK7980. Is this suitable for basic servicing on cars ? http://www.sealey.co.uk/PLPageBuilder.asp?id=20&am...

I'm sure it'll be fine. I think the default answer though is Halfords (make sure you buy when there's an offer on)I have a number of Sealey products. I think it's good gear, for not too much money.
That looks like a nice set but I reckon you'd be better off buying specific tools.
Say a 1/2" socket set like Sealey AK693
A 1/2" torque wrench
Some Wera screwdrivers and hex keys
Spanners like https://www.amazon.co.uk/Neilsen-CT0441-Polish-Spa...
It should be more bespoke and cost you less (although you'll spend that saving on a tool chest!)

Something odd about the original Sealy set quoted, is the sizes.
A 3/8" set is my "go to" kit and fits into a small easy to manage case. My 1/2" stuff is a random collection and only gets used for really tight stuff like suspension and brakes. 1/4" is hardly used and taken care of with some add bits in a screwdriver set.
