Twin Busch 2 post lift
Discussion
I am in a similar situation, looking for 2 lifts, 1 2 post baseless ramp and 1 in ground scissor type lift.
I have been looking at Twin Busch
I have a 2 post lift of Automotech and when I called them only 2 years after they fitted it to ask if they could come and take a look at it as it has started making a funny noise they said they did not have time and they only concentrate on sales now! So you can see why was looking elsewhere.
That said, I have Emailed Twin Busch with no reply but did get a reply from there EBay page. I have also called them up twice and they are not that great on the phone (think it may be a language thing).
As it happens the last phone call was to ask if they would be there on a Friday so I could come and take a look, but they said they were at the classic car show at London. I then asked what they would be displaying and the guy was very vague likewise if they would have any “show offers” he said the bosses from Germany had planned the show and he really did not know much other than he had to attend the show.
Now from what I have found out is Twin Busch is a German company but the lifts are not made in Germany but in China and Taiwan. I get the feeling they are pushing the “German look and feel” but offering a cheaper product than a European made lift.
There website is very polished and they have very good videos and instruction manuals etc but I cannot help thinking the products are just like what Automotech and the like are selling, cheap lifts. The other concern is they are only been Trading in the UK for around 6 months and a lot of their equipment is 415V 3 phase.
I am still very much on the fence especially after a phone call to Automotech last week where they were very helpful and positive with my enquiry and said they have all the spare parts and do service the lift’s they sell.
I guess what I am saying is with Automotech I know what I am getting
With Twin Busch I am not sure

Well I went with TwinBusch. It was delivered last week . Their delivery company could not be faulted delivered on time and the driver was skilled with his fork lift and manouvred the 650 kg package exactly where I wanted it.
Their installation video was superb and made the job of installing and setting up very simple, although some of the English in the paper manual was a bit suspect, The German version was better !
Build quality seems very good , yes built in China , but lets be honest so much is today . Just had one small issue with a couple of crimps in the electrical control box. Otherwise it seems superb value for money.
Prior to purchase I had a couple of queries which I sent direct to Germany and had a detailed reply the same day.
Used for the first time today !
