Cracking cars to drive though, i find them a little too cramped for me but im about 6 foot with a heavy build!
Love to try a supercharged or turbocharged version.
As said easy to work on and and parts are reasonable.
Thanks for the reply. Ease of work is really important as I'm starting out with next to no knowledge on mechanics etc.

That disc in that second from last pic is goosed, budget for discs & pads all round with rust like that if you see it on a car you eventually look at.

I can second this. I ran mine supercharged for a couple of years until a timing issue (error on my part) holed pistons 1 and 3. Was immense fun up until that point.

It's now on the drive sans engine, subframe and pretty much everything else that goes into or around the engine bay, waiting for the transplant of a 4.2litre 1UZ V8 from a Lexus LS400. (progress is painfully slow tho, due to change in circumstances and lack of time)

But yes, very easy to work on

Thanks for pointing things out like that, like I say I'm learning alot and little pointers here and there really help. Think if I was getting something like that I would want to change most basic things anyway, half for my peace of mind and half for the practice.

Yes, I realised that, but my was that you don't tell the seller that you plan to do that anyway, you negotiate the price down because it needs doing.

I have bought 3 cars over the years that I was converting to track cars so brakes/suspension/exhaust etc were all going to be changed.

I bought each car & each one needed the above doing so no-one was buying them, I knocked a suitable amount off the price & got a bargain for each.

For instance I bought the last one which was advertised at £3250 originally for £1700 when it was unsold after 2 weeks from my initial viewing & offer.

What was wrong with it that you managed to get it for so much cheaper?
