hi there

ive been getting a few bits together to have a go at replacing front lambda sensor on nissan almera. engine light on and diagnostics indicate this is the fault. the car is not really worth spending the amount the garage is asking, pretty tatty but otherwise generally running well. im aware they can be tricky to get out.

i had a wiggle underneath to check connections and spray with wd40, and upon re starting engine light had gone out.

anyone know - does this mean the connection is simply bad but is otherwise working, or should it just be replaced anyway?

cheers

If it was 'fixed' by wiggling the wires then it isn't actually fixed and will probably come back. If it was me, I'd leave well alone unless/until that happens.
