However there are exceptions and colour can be a bad indicator of the technologies being used as they are just dyes.
In general you have IAT, OAT and HOAT. In general in modern vehicles it is OAT or HOAT and place of production or manufacturer origin can decide on what coolant are used.
The confusion arises as some coolants look like IAT but are HOAT, for example Mazda's FL22 green but is HOAT.
