Punctuation.

Use it.

Thanks.

In fairness that was close to impossible to read. I'd maybe hit the edit button and make it somewhat more readable.

There are a million threads on here demonstrating that the community does give decent support to car buyers woes, but you'll get better help if your posts are remotely well written.

Need help.

I got up one day and the starter motor is clicking but not cranking. So I left it with a mechanic(?). I shouldn't have bothered anyway. He replaced the starter and the bugger hasn't worked since.

So, a new starter, new fuel relay, new battery (fully charged). It used to crank after the new starter was fitted, but now there are no dash lights even though everything works i.e. Radio idrive wipers lights (apart from a lighter that is) Any ideas??
Seeing as it's New Year and all that.

Oh, and with regards to your problem. Take it to someone who knows what they are doing.

Oh dear. Someone has tried to help you out, sorting out your ramblings, and you insult them in return. I can't see you receiving any assistance here.

Get a competent electrician to diagnose it. Given that the battery and starter motor are new, you probably having an electrical fault.

Almost didn't bother responding due to the appalling punctuation in your original post and your rude response to comments about that. The less effort you put in, the less I'm inclined to put in to help you.

Oh I dont know. I thought my post was constructive. In fact, it helped everyone else that might read this thread understand what you were banging on about.

Best of luck with your car. Trying to find the root cause of electrical issues can be troublesome and time consuming. Especially if one doesnt have a chuffin clue of what one is doing.

OP, this is how to do a first post, especially one where you're asking for help -

Get the earth lead from the starter motor to the chassis checked. That's what did for mine in similar circumstances.
