Lesson learned - always use torque settings.

However, tightened up ground nut for ignition coil too much on R56 N12 mini camshaft and now snapped. Can I temporarily attach earth lead to another earth point using a earth wire extension?

Only until car is driven to garage to remove and replace bolt?

Thanks

WTF!

You have snapped your camshaft tightening up an earth nut?

No, I’m not The Rock. I snapped the coil grounding wire bolt due to over tightening it.

That is what you said...… You tightened up a ground nut for the coil on Mini N12 camshaft & snapped it!
