Aircon only works on driver's side! 2013 A4

This really is a strange one. So as per title, ice cold air comes out of driver's right vent- middle right vent and rear. Left middle vent and left side vent blows 'normal' blower air.

In cooler weather, the rear vent has no heating either. New condenser fitted last year but didn't fix it. Any idea?

If it has split zone climate control, perhaps the control flaps have got stuck for one side. I assume the actual chilling/heating system will be common, so the problem would have to be on the air handling side.

VCDS scan will check out the flaps/actuators in the heater box. Likely something is stuck/broken on one of them.

OK, I will state the obvious.

You have set the left-side to a low enough temperature to need a/c haven't you?

Both on LO with A/C on, yes.

I think you can do a flap reset procedure with one of the VW diagnostic tools. Might be worth a try, although I have a similar issue on my old Merc C Class (in my case drivers side won't go fully cold) and the reset didn't make any difference.
