Will do thank you. How many tools do i need?
Good metric socket set.
Good screwdriver set.

Normal pliers
Flat nose pliers

Set of metric spanners
Lump hammer

Axle stands
Trolley Jack

Set of metric allen keys

That's your starter. There is a tool for every job, buy a tool when you do a job that needs one

More cars should use a tapered sump plug
No messing about with crush washers that have a habit of leaking
From an Engineering viewpoint,
I'm guessing your talking about an NPT thread then?
To create a seal with this type of plug the threads are Crushed.
The Plug needs to be replaced each time it is removed, bearing in mind the sump (female) thread may get damaged.
Thread Tape on BSPP would be safer.
Or just following the Manufacturers advice even better!
