Anyone any idea on if you can jump start using a 2019 Velar?

Battery is located in the boot, tucked away.

Positive terminal is under the bonnet at one end of the fuse box, doesn't seem to be a negative terminal under the bonnet anywhere though?

Any suggestions?

Use the +ve terminal and just get a good earth point form wherever.....top shock mount is usually close and unpainted.

Perfect gents.

I was under the assumption that the doner vehicle you had to connect to the points on the battery, didn't realise you could use any earthed point on both doner and donee.

If the battery's in the boot there's usually a jump point in the engine bay. I'd be very careful doing it mind.

Are the voltages the same between both cars?

It would be unusual if they weren't. Assuming one t'other one isn't a pre-war Ford with +ve earth and 6v.

Yeh, I wasn’t sure if the new PHEv stuff used the 48v in the starting circuit as well as the power.
