Has anyone ordered with car parts 4 less in the last few weeks and seen extremely long dispatch times? Obviously I expect it to be slower than normal - they currently say 10 days is the expected delivery time. My order of some discs and pads is currently at 16 days and is not even at the picking stage.

Their customer service do not answer emails, and the phone and online chat service queue is always over 100 long. So there's a LOT of people waiting for stuff. Did get through a couple of days ago and they said they'd escalate, but that's had no effect.

If my order hasn't even been picked, then their backlog is over 16 days long at the moment. Anyone had anything arrive from them?

I thought it would be fine, as they are affiliated with euro car parts. Just seems they simply cannot cope with demand at the moment whilst click and collect is unavailable. But it isn't stopping them from taking more orders. I'd wait it out if there was any clue as to how long it'll be. It could be many weeks until they clear their backlog though.

I think I'll need to get on the phone as well. The chat service disconnects before I get to the front of the queue, every time.

I waited over 3 months, with MUCH pestering for replacement parts that were allegedly delivered.

Every week I had to raise a new case/complaint as they literally just replied & then ignored me.

Leave them well alone would be my advice to anyone.

Little update. I decided enough was enough and wanted to cancel, so sat on hold yesterday for 1hr 50m. When I eventually got through I asked to cancel and the person on the phone couldn't understand why the order hadn't been picked as there was loads and loads of stock. He said he would do the same! He sounded a bit fed up. I imagine he is having a lot of similar conversations as mine. He mentioned that ECP are doing their deliveries. I imagine ECP are concentrating on their own customers though as demand is very high.

It was explained to me that he cannot cancel the order right there and then - he simply tells someone else to do it rolleyes As it stands the order is still showing as active, I have no cancellation email or record of asking for a cancellation, and still out of pocket £200! I have now ordered from brakeparts.co.uk and it's already been dispatched...

Just glad I bought on a credit card as I'm about 1 day away from calling my bank to have the transaction reversed. Never ever using them again...

Ok, my order has only been part delivered, seems the rest is to follow.

OP - cancel and re-order from AutoDoc, delivery would be quicker and probably cheaper

Check your delivery straight away when it eventually turns up.
Two 5 litre cans of Shell Helix and a filter for my Mondeo had turned into one 5 litre can of Triple QX crap and the wrong filter, the local branch sorted it out and I would rather wait until I can go there personally, will never use the st shower online service again.

I heard autodoc are quite poor as well. Anyway, I've requested it to he cancelled but it is not actually cancelled yet. According to the bank I must wait 15 days before they'll reverse the transaction.

The order from brakeparts.co.uk is arriving tomorrow. 4 discs, 8 pads, 2 calipers and various fitting kits. Ordered at 11pm last night smokin

And yes, never going to use CP4L again after this.

I was reading this thread when this email popped up... my order was placed on Sunday 17th May

WE'RE REALLY SORRY
YOUR ORDER IS DELAYED

We are seeing unprecedented demand and are really sorry to let you know that your Car Parts 4 Less order is delayed by 1 – 2 days. Please rest assured we are working hard to get your favourite car parts to you.
It’s essential that the brilliant teams in our distribution centres are safe and everyone is taking care to work at least two metres apart. This means we have slightly reduced capacity to assemble your orders right now - but we are also working on ways to increase it safely. Your order may take around ten working days to be delivered, but rest assured, we’re on it.
We are also seeing unprecedented contact levels at our Customer Care centre. If you can give the distribution team a little more time and avoid calling to check on your order, we’d really appreciate it.
This is a challenging and uncertain time, and we are incredibly grateful for all the support you are giving us.

This has just been followed up with a text saying that my order will be delivered by DHL on Friday. I can't complain!

On 25th April I ordered a Porsche 944 water pump from CP4L. Delivered on 29th. Unfortunately, what they sent was a water pump for a Ford Fiesta... The first three digits of the item code matched, the last three matched but the three in the middle were different.

Onto the 'phone only to find out that the average hold was two hours. Email sent that night asking for the correct part to be sent and the incorrect one collected at the same time (I will NOT be paying return postage) and an automated reply was received. Ten days passed with no update so I emailed again, this time requesting a refund. No reply to this email as of today so I will be contacting my CC company for a chargeback.

First and last time I've used them.
