is the engine coolant to low

would you say the coolant looks low in this? manual says it should be between min and max marker but i cant even see any markers.....liquid way down bottom of the tube....sorry photo not 100% clear....manual says nothing what type of coolant to use unlike my other car where the manual makes it clear...i typed my car reg into halfords and it shows what i should buy....can this be trusted?

In case this is a real question, that’s the screen wash reservoir you've posted a photo of... Read the manual for the car, and find the right filler to check as a starting point. impprobable said:
Yes, its dangerously low. Also make sure your engine oil is filled right to the top of the filler. Its very dangerous to drive without the fluid level as high as possible....
A friend who was a recovery driver actually went out to someone who had filled the engine up to the filler with oil. Must've taken quite a bit. jamesters said:
