My fone is right beside the b pillar with trim off. My man is holding it not me. The noise only happens doing 65+ its like a very loud tap tap noise. Is it wind or the b pillar creaking? A way to fix? https://streamable.com/gazbk7

Probably a bit of trim slightly loose.

Some info on the car might help.

Some cars have an explosive charge in there to restrain the seat belt in a crash. Could something be loose?

Its a renault megane 2015 dci. Believe me I've tried everywhere to hold the trim but the noise doesn't change. Ive held the seat belt mechanism and it noise doesn't change 1 bit.
Ill look under my seat see if n e things loose. I've sellotaped all the windows and the door card and noise is still there doesn't change. Maybe a quick fix?

I looked under the seat. Glove box behind seat. Back seat. I put pressure Windows no change. Checked trim. The noise completely vanishes when it rains?

random thoughts (I couldn't hear the noise on the video, but.....)

'vanishes when it rains', surely its external then coz only the exterior 'll be wet

Test Drive with the Door and/or Window Apertures Duct Taped? Could it be a dodgy seal? You'll have to climb across from the passenger side?

Window not closed 'fully home'?

Point a decent pressure washer at window / door seals.... any evidence of leakage?

Anything not 100% secure on the bodywork / underside?

Think of the point I'm giving up. It echoes through the b pillar so im just going to tape it up to reduce noise. I think its a bad weld somewhere and its ticking. If I put my ear to the b pillar i can hear it crystal clear. I may take the door trim off if I feel like it. And if its damp on the roads i can hear it but doesn't echo. Very strange.. I travel 400 miles a week so i know its there
