Hello, I'm cosmetically restoring a live axle.
The old spring brake clips (five of) are either bent, corroded or fatigued.
I'd like to grind them off and weld some new ones on, but no one seems to sell them.

Does anyone know where I can get some?

Other options.
1. Make some. Unless I use the right type of steel, they wont work too well, and probably wont be a great fit, so not too secure.
2. Use cable ties, bit of a bodge. Axle have a lot of vibration so the axle and hose will rub over time.

What do other do?

Pics below, sorry for crappy image quality.

If they're just securing the hoses, they'll probably be a simple strip of mild steel spot welded in place. You can replace them with whatever scrap you have to hand. Strapping the hoses/pipes down firmly would work just as well.

Thanks
I finally found these which seem perfect. And cost next to nothing.

Just need to chop the bigger end off, spot weld in the hole and it should do the job perfectly
