Need some help please. My engine management light, Traction Control light and an exclamation mark light (all yellow) came on my Mazda 3 1.6 Diesel 2010 earlier. The car immediately went into limp mode and under acceleration would cause a lot of vibration from the engine causing the entire car to shake. Any ideas at all of what it could be?
Thank you.
Sean

This is like the people who go on Facebook to ask what the opening times of a shop are when it would be better to visit the website of the shop and take a look yourself.

No-one at this distance will be able to give you a worthwhile answer to your question - only confusing speculation that will either give you false consolation or worry you more. Pay a mechanic to plug an OBD diagnostic in to read the fault codes that are causing the warning lights to appear as that is your only course of action that will lead to it getting sorted.

I might have suggested you get hold of a cheap OBD reader or adapter and phone-app and read the codes yourself but I suspect you would be back in here in five minutes because you would not know what to do with the information.

What a lovely response, thank you.
I was hoping to come across somebody that has been in the same boat. Not some ignorant boy.

Cheers!

What he was trying to say is that it could be any one of several faults. There isn't just one that will cause your problem.

You will, as suggested need a garage to read the fault code(s) that will be logged on the car's system. They can then tell you what the problem is.

Well, you can sit around hear waiting for a better one (tip - you will be waiting a while) or take the advice.

Choice is yours, but the answer comes from experience so don't dismiss it. There are no shortcuts when it comes to diagnosing problems like the one you have described - just time wasted speculating.

This is nearly impossible to say without fault codes it could be anything. For instance I had a Transit Connect in limp mode with traction control lights on, the fault was seized turbo actuator and faulty injector. I had a BMW with dsc, traction control and eml on, vehicle in limp mode, switch off dsc and engine would come out of limp mode, cause one rear ABS sensor faulty.
