Hello,

I have a 2010 Honda Civic and recently, 3 out of 4 doors have become inoperable.

When I operate the fob, I can hear the driver's side door unlocking and this works fine, but the other doors make no noise at all.

I was able to use the electric unlock button within the driver's side of the car to unlock one of the doors for a little while, but now that is also inoperable.

Operating the locks internally achieves nothing - they only partially move.

Appreciate this could potentially be multiple things, but based on the information I have provided, any educated guesses as to what it could be, and how much to expect to fork out?

Thanks in advance.

A favorite failure point is where the wires pass between the body and the door, near the hinge. I don't know how likely it is for a single failure to affect all doors, but since they're connected electrically I guess it might.

I could be wrong but I think the other 3 door locks take their power from the drivers door lock so when the fob is activated it's powers the actuator in the drivers door and that then sends power to the other doors.
So the problem is probably in the drivers door with the actuator or the wiring coming from it.
Or, I could be completely wrong lol

On my Ford I have the choice of setting all doors to open with 1 fob button push or drivers door only with 1 push then a double push for the other door.
The fact you can’t unlock from inside points to an electrical fault
