So I initially was told my engine may be siezed however after RAC coming out and us managing to get it bump started and being told I need a new alternator, starter motor and Battery.

So I had already had a new starter motor so skipped this and got my battery and alternator replaced.

However I still have ONE click and it won't start.

I can bump start it and it drives like a dream but I just can't get it started without bumping.

Could my new starter have failed already?

Is the click the startr engaging or could this be the starter relay that needs replacing

Is it a problem in the starter motor, or the battery, or the connection between them? And if you don't know, how do you suppose you would find out?

Whoever said you needed a new starter battery & alternator clearly couldn't be bothered to actually diagnose the issue & you must NEVER believe a word they say ever again!

Job #1 when having "starter" issues.

Fully charge the battery overnight/24 hours with a battery charger.

While that is going on remove, clean, check & ensure all high power battery/alternator/starter/engine chassis connections/cables are all good.

Then tell us what is happening, at the worst you would probably only have needed to change one of the 3 things you have bought/fitted.
