I can't open my Suzuki Alto's boot with a key. The key wouldn't even turn.

It is fine to open when using the pull lever by driver's feet which I use to open boot.
Can anyone kindly guide me how can I fix it myself.

Does anyone know how can I fix this?

Thanks in Advance

Due to lack of use the lock/mechanism has seized, open it up, remove trim around it dismantle it lubricate it & away you go.

you can remove the lock mechanism from the boot lid from the inside even if it’s locked

Why is the key unable to turn in the cylinder.

dirt and moisture might have seized the key pins and they get gummed up. you could try penetrating oil and turn the key left and right gently and it might free off

Thank you Brian. I will try this. It's like this since I bought this car in August.
