Skoda Fabia Monte Carlo MY 2013 Radiator Fan issue

Hi all
I wondered if anyone can help?

My daughters Skoda Fabia 1.6tdi has a problem with the cooling system, I have checked it over and the cooling fan seems to be running backwards.

The air is being pushed towards the grille instead of sucking the air through the radiator and into the engine compartment.

Has anyone had this issue or does anyone know the likely problem ?

If it is running in reverse then I would think it is likely that the +ve and earth connections have been switched.
Is there a connector which can be unplugged and reconnected the other way round?

Or it has been out & refitted wrong.
